Welcome to Bovec Paddleboarding
We're not your average tour company. We're a small, slightly obsessed crew of paddlers who traded normal hobbies for a life on one of Europe's most stunning rivers — and we've never looked back.
Based in Bovec, Slovenia — aka the adventure capital of the Alps — we live and breathe the Soča Valley. From your very first wobbly steps on a board to charging technical whitewater like you own the place, we've got a course, a tour, and a high-five waiting for you.
Our philosophy? Simple. Small groups, real connections, and instruction that actually makes you better — not just someone who survived the experience. When you paddle with us, you're not a booking reference number. You're part of the crew.
It Started With a River
It always does, doesn't it?
The Soča — known around here as the "Emerald Queen" of the Julian Alps — has a way of getting under your skin. What started as a personal love affair with this impossibly blue-green river quietly evolved into Bovec Paddleboarding: a mission to share the magic of Stand Up Paddling with anyone bold enough to step on a board.
We genuinely believe the best way to experience Slovenia's wild, pristine nature is from the water. Flat water gliding through quiet canyons, or wrestling rapids with a grin plastered on your face — we'll get you there.

Bovec is an outdoor playground, and the Soča is its crown jewel. We realized early on that while most people see this river from a raft, paddleboarders get something different — something more personal, more connected, and honestly a little more wild. We've crafted experiences for every level, from scenic floats that'll make your Instagram followers weep with envy, to technical whitewater courses that'll make you weep (in the best possible way).
We Know This River
Our certified instructors aren't just qualified — they're locals who grew up reading the Soča's moods like a second language. We focus on real coaching and proper technique, so you leave feeling genuinely capable, not just lucky.

The residence and its apartments are designed exclusively with high-quality European natural materials. Hand-made wooden furniture by local craftsmen with designer elements, high-quality lighting, hand-woven textiles, and premium mattresses and pillows.
The campsite has a well-equipped sanitary facility with hot-water showers and toilets. Laundry facilities and fridge rental are also available.
The campsite also has a communal kitchen and three multi-purpose covered group areas, a children’s playground and a volleyball court. Outdoor fireplaces are also available.
The Soča camp is located on three terraces in unspoiled nature. You can choose your camping spot upon arrival, as our camp does not have designated plots. Due to early hikers and families with children, we ensure a peaceful atmosphere in the camp after 11 PM.
We are a small, family, local agency with local guides. Since we are a local agency, we want to offer our guests more.
We are located in the village of Čezsoča by the emerald river Soča. We are only 2 km from the centre of Bovec.
